Here at the Bee Friendly Trust, we rely on a fantastic team of busy worker bees to help us complete our nationwide projects.
Aka The Queen Bee. Luke’s the one who got things all started, guerrilla gardening in the early days with a fellow beekeeper, on a mission to keep the Capital’s bees happy.
Got a query you need answered? Want to nominate a station for our bee-friendly touch? Keen to find out more about honey bees or to support us in our work? Make Emma your first port of call.
The money man. Hakim keeps the Trust ticking along to ensure we can cram in as many projects each year as possible. Essentially, he’s the reason we’ve been able to, to date, help hundreds and thousands of bees.
Our own resident author, who, when she’s not writing about the wonder of honey bees, keeps our bee-friendly community thriving on Facebook. Helen’s pretty handy with a drawing pen, too – buy her bee-autiful illustrations from our shop, today.
The Worker Bees
They’re the handy-people who transform the nation’s neglected spaces into thriving floral habitats for honey bees and other pollinators, and help to spread the importance of our work: Meet Hermione, Lesley, Dan, Georgina, Luke (a different one), Petra, Dan (a different one of those, too), Alan, Jason, Frank, Pablo… the list goes on.
Say hello to…YOU. Yes, we need people like you to help keep our green spaces buzzing. Find out more about the many ways you can get involved with the Trust, here.
