Newbury Park Underground Station, London

Our Worker Bees team did some stellar work clearing the 35m long bed and bank at Newbury Park. Once a well-tended garden, but left forgotten, we cleared out the weeds and created a heritage variety fruit orchard along the length of the station. The bank behind was already an important and much-used wildlife habitat so simply did a bit of basic maintenance to encourage it to further flourish.

[Note: due to building works at the station, the BFT team have had no access to the site for two years. We apologise for its current appearance.]
