Wrabness Railway Station, Essex

The wildlife garden at Wrabness Railway Station is a bee-autiful example of what the Bee Friendly Trust does best. The culmination of months of team effort, with input from Essex & South Suffolk Community Rail, Greater Anglia, the Community Rail Network and more, helping to transform a nettle and bramble matted space into a wildlife haven with floral planters, wildflower beds, a pond, a hibernaculum, artwork from Wix & Wrabness Primary School pupils and Acorn Village, bug hotels and sculptures.

There are places to sit and reflect; to enjoy the gentle sound of nature; and to catch up with friends or simply await the next train.

The garden was officially opened on 26th March 2023.
