It’s that time of the year when we start getting excited.
Not because snowdrops and daffodils are starting to make an appearance – although this is good news for early emerging bees and pollinators.
But because we start looking ahead to the Bee Friendly Trust’s annual Bee Friendly Awards.
Now in their sixth year, the Bee Friendly Awards celebrate all of the hard work going on around the country to create vibrant habitats for wildlife. They are an annual shout out for the people making positive change happen and showcase the collaborations that are helping to extend pollinator pathways across the nation.
Perhaps you’ve taken over a grassy bank and transformed it into a nature haven with wildflowers and bug hotels. Maybe you rallied the shops in your local High Street to switch up the plants in their hanging baskets so that they are pollinator friendly? Does your school have an active Eco Club that deserves recognition? Or are you a business that sponsors wildlife projects for bees or donates from every sale?
We’re always amazed at people’s creativity and enthusiasm, and can’t wait to see what the Bee Friendly Awards 2026 bring to the spotlight.
The Bee Friendly Awards 2026 are now open for entries. Find out more at Bee Friendly Awards.
