Today, on World Bee Day, we are delighted to announce the winners of our 2026 Bee Friendly Awards.

World Bee Day is a chance to celebrate the vital role bees and other pollinators play in supporting healthy ecosystems, biodiversity and food production. It is also an opportunity to recognise the incredible efforts of the people, communities and organisations working across the UK to create and protect habitats where pollinators can thrive.

Now in its fifth year, the Bee Friendly Awards were created to shine a spotlight on those making a real difference for bees and wildlife. From transforming community spaces and restoring wildflower habitats to creating pollinator pathways and inspiring local action, the awards celebrate the creativity, collaboration and commitment helping nature flourish across the country.

Each year, we are inspired by the passion and innovation demonstrated by those taking action for pollinators. This year’s winners were selected by our panel of judges for their outstanding dedication to supporting bees and creating lasting environmental impact for the future. They have:

  • Created educational walking trails to connect bee-friendly projects in their area and engage the community
  • Designed apps to monitor pollinator activity in their bee-friendly planters and wildflower beds
  • Launched fundraising enterprises to reinforce the link between pollination, food production and environment stewardship for the next generation

We are proud to announce the winners of the 2026 Bee Friendly Awards:
