We were approached by the family of Amanda Battini in 2021 with the request to create a commemorative bee-friendly tribute for a woman who loved nature and bees.

With donations from the family, friends and Amanda’s former workplace, Mills & Reeve LLP, we commissioned this striking iron structure by artist blacksmith Thomas Gontar, as a companion piece to his sculpture at Cambridge Station. 

It is in Culpepper Communty Garden in Islington.

A commemorative plaque for Amanda reads: In Every Bee We See.

The sculpture was unveiled on 18 August 2021.
