This week marks Defra’s annual Bees’ Needs Week, seven days of celebration of bees and other pollinators.

To mark the occasion, our founder Dr Luke Dixon took part in a podcast, hosted by the Society of Local Clerks, to discuss why bees are so threatened, why this matters, and what we can all be doing to help support them.

From the importance of hedgerows, to knowing when to mow or not to mow, to community bug hotel building and window box planting, listen to what Luke has to say on the topic of Bee Squared: A Community-Led Approach to Pollinator Conservation.
