We are excited to announce that pupils from the Charterhouse Square School have adopted the bee-friendly planters at Barbican Railway Station, which (conveniently for them) is opposite the school.

We had an induction with the school and the pupils rolled up their sleeves to weed the station’s planters and decide what new bee-friendly plants they would like to add.

They also showed off their creative talents, decorating the white planters with their own bee-inspired artwork.

A brilliant example of hands-on learning, teamwork and pupil voice in action.

We are excited to watch these planters thrive under the loving care of this future generation.
