In 2024, we commissioned artist Niamh Walshe McBride to create these pollinator stained glass window panes for the waiting area at Leyton Underground Station, where we also have a bee-friendly wildlife garden.

Her Majesty
This striking, wood-carved Queen Bee was created by Suraiya K Tuku of Citywood in East London for the Wrabness Station Wildlife Garden in Essex. A fitting tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II. In July 2026, the bee was removed from the station and is currently buzzing its way to a new home.

Esther Rushton
In December 2022, this striking mural, created by Esther Rushton (the artist who designed our wildflower seed packets), travelled from Brighton, East Sussex, to Newbury Racecourse, Berkshire where it now has pride of place at the station, alongside four of our floral planters, numerous bug hotels and a wildflower meadow.
