Time is Running Out. That’s the important message portrayed by our latest art installation at London Bridge Railway Station. Back in 2020, the Bee Friendly Trust launched a competition to create a unique sculpture that would draw public attention to the worrying fact that populations of honey bee and many other vital pollinators are dwindling. …

Bures Railway Station, Essex
Planters don’t have to be big to pack a punch. The ones we installed, with support from Essex County Council and Essex & South Suffolk Community Rail, may be slightly smaller than our usual size but they are still proving popular with the local bee, butterfly and other pollinator populations. The secret? Salvias.
Althorne Railway Station, Essex
Adding to our portfolio of station transformations with Essex & South Suffolk Community Rail, we created a series of herb beds that we installed at stations including Witham, Colchester, and Sudbury. Becontree Railway Station, London

Amersham Railway Station, Buckinghamshire
The small planter outside Amersham Railway Station is part of the original 1892 building. A community notice board sits inside it. We have restored that planter, along with all the others inside the station, to bring them back to their original splendour.
Alice Baker
When faced with the large-scale blank white walls of Worcestershire Parkway Railway Station, we knew we had the perfect canvas for an interactive and engaging art commissioned. So, with support from GWR, we commissioned Somerset-artist Alice Baker to create a mural depicting a world without pollinators – and the powerful change that can happen when …

The entries were diverse and original. But one, designed by university student Madeleine Higgs, stood out for the simplicity of …
